I wade fished it and caught a dozen nice trout as people went to the bay side of the washout. One guy asked how I was doing as he putted through. I had a fish on and just let line out. Told him I was snagged on something

Always gotta keep your rod low to the water as to not attract attention to heavy rod bending

Must be nice to get to use barbs

I have fished where barbs were illegal to use. Lost a few big brown trout on flies without barbs

Barbs aren't allowed for salmon, steelhead, cutthroat trout and sturgeon in the Pac NW.
Hate it but it does teach you to pay more attention.
