I've been looking at them for about a year. Driving a lot for work these days.
I can not decide between:
Escort iXc $379
Escort Passport 9500 iX $299
Undiden R7 $599
Escort Max 360 $650
Uniden R3 $399

Damn y'all know your radars lol. Thanks for the input. Yeh I don't typically speed but Waze is pointless for the most part except on i10 and i20 (at least with regard to where I frequently drive). It just occurred to me to invest in one. I will look into some of the brands mentioned. thank you.

R3 if you don't require GPS (used for automatic lockouts and speed cameras and/or red light cameras).
R7, if you do.
Performance wise, about the same, although the R7 is suppposed to be a little better at detection (R3 will provide PLENTY of advanced notice).

My coworker has an R3 that I have a lot of time behind the wheel using. I had made the same determination as your post, but it would be nice to give him shite about my R7 being better. Lol
Now, is that worth the extra $200 is the big question.
I have also driven across TX and back with a escort passport 9500 iX.
To me they all seem to do very well and there is no need for the latest and greatest from a budget prospective.
ETA: I have never ridden or driven with a Valentine, so I have no experience outside of YouTube vids.
