I have been on canned hunts when the birds flew like you described, never again on purpose. I rarely make canned hunts, but when I do I will pay for a place the has decent flying birds and there are some out there but you pay more...

the only thing I like canned hunts for is a little dressed rehearsal for dogs.

I was on a canned hunt once and a guy said.. man if this is how most quail are no wonder we don't have em anymore.....

I hunted at Bon Amis last week with some customers. Very enjoyable hunt and the dogs were awesome. I think it was $600 for 3 hunters and 45 birds cleaned.
