Putting Slime in your ATV tires. Good/bad idea?

I bought some used tires from a friend and I guess they are not sealing good because after about 5 days I have to air the tires up.
Do you have any pros/cons about using Slime?

If you'll never have to fool with them yourselves go ahead and try it. If you plan on changing them yourself than don't do it because that is some nasty shite.

I put Slime in my tires when my bike was new, 2005, and have not had a flat.

Then definitely try it. It's a cheap fix that works lots of times.

Only problem I have ever seen with slime in ATV tires is if it sets all in one area you will feel a wobble from that tire at a higher speed. If you're going to slime it make sire you ride for a good bit immediately after to spread it evenly.

if it is leaking around the bead slime will not seal it.
unless you take the tire off and lay it on its side and keep moving around to coat the side walls. most likely you are leaking around the bead

It works if done properly

as long as it's not a sidewall leak it works great. you have to remove the tire and rim and lay them on their side to get this slime to coat the whole tire
