After ordering I sent a message via their website. I got an automated response telling me to check the “check order status” and/or “check shipping status” on their webpage. I haven’t done that yet. But plan on doing it today.

Mine is coming in today. Palmetto does not have the fastest shipping, if you highlight your tracking number and just put it in Google you'll go straight to UPS or whoever is being used to ship. I think mine took less than five days.

My order has not been issued a shipping tracking number. All I have at the moment is an order number. Hoping to get that tracking number soon.

All right....UPS number issued. Says I will receive the package on Monday. Ordered this Monday (May 5th) around lunchtime...so as of right now 5 business days to me. Not bad at all.

So mine came in and I got a chance to check it out late last night after the wife & kids went to bed... I think its going to work well. I'm used to the 384 res thermals, this is better. The field of view is great but does look decent when u zoom in. The fact that I can zoom-in with the pip feature is nice b/c this wasn't available to do this on my older 384 res thermals. It doesn't have the reticle that I have used in the past but I'll have to get used to the ones available.
I went ahead & bough a few more aps3 batteries. One problem I've had with these older pulsar thermals is that when they are discontinued and the years pass by it has become difficult / impossible to find the batteries that go in the older thermal models (for example the EPS batteries).
Gunna sight it in next week!

All thermions take the same aps 3/2 batteries. Pulsar is proud of that system and it isn’t going away anytime soon. That older XG50 will go through batteries faster than the new models so you definitely need them.

Cool. One thing that helps is that I have handhelds that I use and kind of run the whole hunt. I turn the thermal on the rifle on when I make a stalk or I'm about to shoot.

That’s good but there is one issue with that. Make sure you have the scope on for 5-10 minutes (longer if it’s colder) before shooting. I’ve noticed that the thermal sensor needs to heat up or it will be off zero some until it heats up. Might not matter at close range but 200yds and out it will matter. When I say off zero I mean the grouping will be 2” at 100yds instead of 1” until it warms up. You have to remember you are dealing with digital optic.
You are better off putting it in stand by mode until you’re ready to shoot.

I like that, will use that next time I miss a coyote.

There’s always an excuse to find lol I noticed this trend when I forget to turn on the scope before getting to the range.

Ordered mine on the Tuesday the 6th. Checked on the 9th and it had shipped from SC. I’m supposed to get it Tuesday the 13th. Seven days from order (no clue what time, prolly evening) to delivery is great if that holds true. If I ordered late on the 6th like I think it’s really 6 days. I think it’s a good opportunity for us who don’t want to drop $5-6k up front to still get our feet wet in thermal hunting with a quality product. The AGM Rattler I had about decided on was $35-3900. By that point ponying up another $1-2k would get you into Pulsar Thermion XP50’s. Thats the problem with this. You can “just a little bit more” yourself right out the other side of reality.

Indeed, then you’re taking 500 yards shots on yotes and posting it to instantagram.
