The ammo in the original post and the one PSA has on their site for $16.99 is what I’d consider a premium load, the part number 2422029, box with the elk picture is loaded with their Oryx bonded bullets and are advertised to retain almost 100% of its weight and most places get $45.00 a box or more for them.
The cartridge you mentioned is their Whitetail line of ammo, loaded with a standard cup and core soft point, similar to a Winchester power point or Federal Power-Shok, they usually sell for about $30.00 a box.
The ammo PSA has on sale should be superior compared to the Whitetail line especially if you decide to use it for elk, caribou, moose or other large game. They both would work exceptionally for whitetail deer.
Incredible deal on that cartridge not to mention you have a hard time even finding new unprimed empty brass for .85 cents a round!

The Norma whitetails are still a decent deal at $20, the NORMA load using the 150 gr. Oryx bullet, product #2422029, is up to $19.99 which is still a good deal, this cartridge will continue to be a good deal until it’s about $25 a box, then it’ll be fair deal till about $30 a box and a average deal price when it gets to $35.

If I was loading that bullet, this is the most recent component cost I have…the last Norma brass I saw was $1.30 a round, powder to create 2822fps charge =.35 cents per load, BR2 primer = .16 cents, Norma Oryx bullet= .65 cents, so for me to load it would cost $2.46 a cartridge just for components alone.
