For one, thing the percentage of young people getting into it is dropping.Kids would rather sit on their arse and play video games.I have 2 stepsons and 3 grandsons and none of them are very interested in hunting or fishing
Losing public hunting land and leases becoming unaffordable for their dads to take them doesn’t help. YouTube hunting where only big antlers matter anymore I’ve seen first hand 2 teenagers quit hunting over. One I took, he grew up without a dad, he killed a button buck at maybe 16 y/o. He posted it on FB and was absolutely thrilled about it. Got hammered by other kids and worse, grown men, about killing a button buck. Wasn’t even in a group, his own personal page. Then he only cared about shooting a big buck, well I hunt public land, he lost interest and quit. Seen same exact scenario happen with another boy.
I mean shite, if people are that worried about not enough big bucks maybe make the limit 2 bucks a year instead of 3.

Nice rebuttal.
You're fine with the increase and wasteful spending.
We get it.
You're entire rebuttal was garbage. You completely ignored the point I was making about the minor price paid for licenses that fund management and public lands. Let's get rid of all of that and see how long Hunting survives when half of your Hunting public no longer hunts because they have no where to hunt.
It's literally a $3 increase if you hunt everything. You're acting like they are charging you an arm and your first born child.
I'm not saying anything about being fine with wasteful spending. I'm just making the observation that many people, like yourself, would not like this regardless of how efficient LDWF was, because it's seen as an increase in taxes.
