Red Tips are awesome but a prone to fungal diseases. Ligustrums are awesome when kept to a manageable size/shape.

Negative. Mine are as brown as can be after the two freezes we had this winter.

Man I hope none of my neighbors ever plant Ligustrums. That's like an instant headache for me as soon as I smell those things.

McNeese had some near the engineering buildings...and I couldn't walk around them at all...that sickly sweet smell...it's truly painful.

I need to plant about 400’ along a property line for privacy. How far away from the line would I have to plant shrubs like wax myrtles or viburnum from the property line to allow for one pass with the mower on the outside? Can you keep them trimmed to 10’ deep?
