BIL was leaving the party at my wifes grandparents and he didnt see him as he was leaving. Unfortunately he had started running besides vehicles when family would leave and he eventually got hit.

Sorry to hear that. I ran over my 12 yr old lab (she was under the boat trailer and I didn't know it) 5 yrs ago and I still miss her.
