Who the frick reports something I like that? Seriously? People need to mind their own frickin business. As long as they're not harming their child or people surrounding them, let them do what they want.

As a retired La State Police Sgt., this makes me sick. I do not know of ONE trooper, deputy, or officer who supports gun control. This reminds me of the rogue administration in New Orleans tromping over citizens rights after Katrina. Some one should have been prosecuted for violation of civil rights.

That book infuriated me. I couldn't believe that shite went on right down the road.

It is his own fault for having Facebook. Hopefully he learned his lesson not to friend that 45 year old man in West Virginia that he hasn't ever met.
Grow Up guys. Those people don't really care about you. If they did, they'd be calling or hanging out with you. Facebook is nothing but a tool to get information now

I don't personally know any that support gun control either but this story isn't just about gun control. It is also about 4th Amendment rights. I personally witnessed 1 events and have a close friend where it happened another time where people refused to allow a cop (in Louisiana) to search their car and both times a BS charge was made up and they were hauled to jail only to have it thrown out.
The 4th amendment is too often used as a punching bag by both sides.

Sadly you are correct. People should realize that ALL of our rights are inter-related.

Not trying to be a nay-sayer or start any poop on the board but..this guy's story doesn't add up.
Random police show up at my door, want to see guns, won't show warrant, won't provide names or any other info, they're bullying me and making threats.
Police know what's correct and incorrect. This is a blatant violation of one's rights and would likely invoke a civil lawsuit, investigation, TONS of national press, and a likely firing/demotion. A lot to risk for an officer, especially the chief.
Adding my suspicion, it's off a message board. How accountable is this?
I'm guessing were not getting the whole picture here...

Fox News will be doing a segment about this incident soon on "Kelly's Court." Will be interesting to see if Fox provides any additional details.
