Monday was my dad’s birthday.
Been gone for 6.5 yrs and it sucks.

Yes it does, my dad passed about 7 years ago. Korean vet, golden gloves state champ, gambler and lady chaser...what a ride. Remember the good times my friend

Update, it doesn't look good for my uncle. His BP is low and he's dehydrated. My cousin took him to the ER today in St Francisville, La. they gave him fluids and meds, but his lungs look worse today than they did last week. He's home now.
On a lighter note, he still has race horses, I watched a replay from Delta Downs from Saturday night. His horse threw a jockey before the race and they had to get another for the race. The 2 yo filly reared in the gate and I said, "yep, that's his horse".

I lost my favorite uncle about 2 years ago. He was only 9 years older than me and spent a lot of time with me and my brother. Great memories of rabbit hunting with his beagles and listening to LSU on Mamaw’s old radio.prayers sent.
