class of 65 thank you very much. I remember 10 for a Dollar at the burger chef on Florida Blvd. That was in 59 of course. I remember when the Whopper was 39 cents. Crap, I guess that makes me an elder now. We used to hit Pass Manchac and shoot nothing but green heads. We had a little honey hole near the Pass. Ah the good ole days are gone forever.

I was in the 3/ $1 club. I also remember getting the hamburger/ fries/ coke combo before the Jr. High football games for like $2.

Boy, y'all are walking down memory lane with this one!!

I had a blind at wham for 20 years. One of us would take the boat out of the water and go to PeGe's and buy 18 sandwiches (3/1.00). We would draw straws to see who would go. Then, we'd eat in the blind and stay til dark.
As fas as the Honky Tonk....let's just say I spent more time there than in class and studying combined!
Who remembers "nickel draft" night at Sal's?? The plastic cups were the size of a teacup, but it was a cheap drunk. Worst arse-whippin I ever took was on nickel draft night at sal's.
To answer the original question, stick with Sage. They have really screwed Ouachita WMA up the last few years. My blind now is on HWY 15, and the people I see trying to hunt there are really struggling and pissed.

OG, I would have figured you to be more of a Brandin' Iron, Rust Nail, and Webbs guy than in those Monroe bars!
