The final details for my trip were just locked in. Anyone been to SA to hunt, or just in general? Thoughts?

When I get ready to wingshoot anywhere internationally, first call is going to be to Ramsey Russell/getducks.com
He just got back from SA.

I didn't do it in South Africa but did a hunt for them in South America. It was the some of the most fun I've ever had hunting. We were at a feed lot and it was a few hours of non stop shooting. They can't flare as quick as dove so they're pretty easy to knock down.

Idk about South Africa but South America teal and duck are definitely on the bucket list. Africa sounds awesome too now that I think about it.

Last time I went to Africa was 2015, we looked into wing shooting and you couldn’t bring a semi auto into the country. Check on that if you plan to bring your own shotgun.

To be honest, I jealous. But it seems like a lot of money and far to shoot pigeons and ducks. For that amount I would fly into Canada somewhere by seaplane, pack in on horses and track a moose or elk. Again, I'm jealous.

Thanks. Part of this is that I have always wanted to hunt in Africa

Hell yeah man!. I will fly in and kill a large something in Canada before I die.
