I know this has been discussed on here before but I searched and there wasn’t anything recent.

I’ll be down there the second week in June and want to take my wife and three daughters (no pics) fishing for the day. I think I’d prefer deep sea rather than bay fishing.

Anybody done it with somebody who was amazing?

TIA

As for recommendations, I have nothing to offer.

But have you ever been deep sea fishing? I get the desire to go but it can be miserable if someone in your group gets sea sick. Especially kids that will look to their parents to make them feel better. That is a lot of money to potentially be miserable. You might get lucky but I’d bet that at least one of you 5 will get sick and it isn’t fun. Just something to consider.

Captain Baz. Don't remember the official name of his business, but he (and his brother) are great for bay fishing. Don't know if he does offshore, but he has been in the business long enough to put you in touch with the best of anything anywhere.

It can and does happen but doesn't need to...Dramamine works. use it BEFORE setting foot on a boat. It will do no good once the inner ear starts moving but taken as directed it will work for almost everyone. I have never been seasick....I have felt uneasy once on a cruise ship of all things...but I have been with people who were and it ain't fun...if you don't know how it will impact you use Dramamine...seriously, it works. I have a buddy who get motion sick looking at the water from shore who fishes offshore probably 150 times a year...never gets sea sick because he takes the pills...they work.

The company I work for has used Hot Spots several times to take customers fishing and have always had good success, both inshore and offshore.
