haven't been to black lake in years but used to fish it often. I spoke to my brother and he said that they leveed off half the lake (you can see it in the picture) and did a lot of dredging behind it to try and grow marsh grass back in. I remember some baw in an airboat trying to run folks off in that area before the levee went up. I caught my personal best trout (7+ lb) in the marsh on the left/west side of your pic
