Thought it might be your pilot. You don't have one. Use matches.

VernonPLSUfan: using matches now, but it wont spark to reignite gas when it cycles on/off during longer cooking times.

The problem is that in BR used have only one person as authorized service repair - Bellelo's. We bought the house w/ the appliances already installed and Bellelo's says they don't have the address in their sales records. Since they didn't sell it to "the address", they wont service it. Next closest person per Viking is in Metairie & Lafayette, and they won't come to BR.

Have you talked to Viking about changing the address? That's a weird arse reply by the service company. So they don't work on used Vikings?

when the stove needed work two yrs ago, Viking corporate had to step in and force Bellelo's to help us. the BS attitude from those guys almost made me scrap the whole thing and by a Samsung from HD...for a 1/3 of the price. I really want to find a guy in BR that can work on this without having to go through all that again.

I'm not going to do this myself if I can find someone. Don't have time to drag it out for two weeks and have my wife on my arse the whole time.

Sorry for quick hijack: i have a glow bar/igniter and it works and range clicks but no gas comes out so it doesn't light. Water heater is getting gas but stove does not. Also stove has not been used in 6 months.

Youtube hasnt been helpful on this one.

same problem as Bellelo's...I think it actually was Stantons that was forced by Viking to come fix our stove and gave us such attitude...and they dont carry/service Viking anymore

rattlebucket:

I would start by cleaning the gas ports in the stove. Then take off the burners and get down to the main ports. pipe cleaner, toothpick, paper clip
