I haven't run a lot of the small engines, but Suzukis are solid motors. That said, I know a guy at a dredging company that swears by Tahotsu

Get a lil Yamaha and be done. That said I've heard good things overall about Suzuki so worth looking into i guess.

i've got a 20 hp Yamaha 4 stroke. never had any problems with it, runs just fine. 3 years old...
