They need to start classifying ebikes with a throttle as a "motorized vehicle." I don't have as big of an issue with the ones that are just the pedal assist since you actually have to pedal them.

Officially joined the darkside. Bought a Mongoose fat tire bike and put a Bafang mid drive electric motor on it. Converted it to single speed so that it has a shite pile of tourque. Top speed is only 16 MPH. I tried it out at Tunica last weekend and it handled all the hills really well. It's a lot quicker to load/unload than a four wheeler and quieter.
