There is an old 15x15 or so above ground pool at our camp. Guy that put it up got out of the lease 3-4 years ago. Was going trash it but it still holds water and thought about throwing a pump in there and making a bass pond or something.

Ideas?

best you can do is make it a big coy pond

thats not enough space for anything really

and its going to end up rancid in no time unless you spend big money running air pumps and cleaning algae

if you wanted ducks you could make a duck pond

It won’t work then. I try to keep my camp maintenance items to a minimum.

Around 1982 or so i had a cheap 8 ft. above ground pool. One fall i put 3 spotted bass in it and would feed them minnows. They lived until spring and when the weather got warm i transplanted them to a local lake.
