I second this motion.

Woman killed her abusive husband and neighbors are covering for her. I think this is ballistically impossible considering the angle at which the bullet would be falling at a 2000 yards away for it to come in under the roof yet hit the guy in the head.

shite happens. There was a case back in the 70s where a guy was just messing around and shooting a buoy waaaaaaaaaaaaaay out in Boston Harbor I think it was with an old .303. Anyway, the bullet ricocheted off the water and traveled a mile or so before hitting a woman in the back of the head she was driving down a road beside the harbor. Bad luck all the way around. The really funny thing is that she was driving with all her windows up except for her back driver's side window that was cracked a couple inches because she was smoking. The bullet went through that crack and killed her without breaking a window.

I'm sure his wife immediatly stopped the car and exited the vehicle with her hands up trying to surrender to whoever was doing the shooting.

If it hit the pig in the head at an angle, I can believe it. Pigs have some hard heads. There was a game cam pic floating around a few years ago with one walking around with an arrow sticking straight out of his forehead. He was walking around like nothing was wrong.

And remember, in France, that pig wasn't a "pig" but a European boar that might have weight 400 pounds.

The really funny thing about the Boston Harbor bullet was that the investigator said that it was so spent by the time it hit the woman driving down the road, that if her window had been up, the window would have almost certainly stopped or deflected it enough that it wouldn't have even hit her.

On water I can believe it because the direction isn't changing much. They're saying this thing took a right hand turn. That right there would put some serious deceleration on the bullet and cause it's arc to steepen dramatically.

I don't believe this one's possible.

Faxis, I find you to be one of the most well informed guys on this board.....................................But the statement above is dead wrong. Go shoot some tracers across a lake and watch the show. Bullets do some crazy shite when they bounce off the water.

That's fine choirboy, I've shot my share of turtles on the water so I've seen that shite too, but in this case, ain't no fricking way this happened like they're saying.

Here's what he was shooting.

Caliber: 9.3x72mm Rimmed
Bullet Weight: 193 Grains
Bullet Style: Soft Point
Case Type: Brass

Ballistics Information
Muzzle Velocity: 1952 fps
Muzzle Energy: 1633 ft. lbs.

The arc of that bullet would make it completely impossible even if he was trying to do it and there'd be no energy left to penetrate at the end.

Throw a right angle turn in there and this is now up there with bigfoot and black panthers.

Didn't happen.
