Of all the fishing/hunting hosts I've watched, Hackney doesn't come off as arrogant as most. Some of his videos are funny in some instants. JMO, never met the dude.

Saw the same thing. Thats a little ridiculous. All live programs should go to the small split screen when they minimize the even and show the commercial in another window for that reason.

So he's competitive? Just because he's not trying to be the poster face of professional fishing doesn't mean he's an a-hole.

I don't mind Howell but I hate when catches a fish while standing, and put his rod between his legs. Not sure why it bothers me but it does.

I thought I was the only one.
I don't really dislike any of the anglers. But any time Ott is fishing, I'm team Ott.
ETA: I do tend to root against the Cali/Flatbill guys, though.

Is knowing the outcome going to diminish the tv show? One of the reasons I love the show is that I don’t know the outcome until I watch it. Now I will. Prob will not watch as much.

You're describing someone of a competitive nature. I'm sure if you were a super nice guy on the verge of a $125,000 check and someone comes (who isn't in contention) and tries to take that away from you, you'd be pretty pissed off too.

Kind of thought the same thing. However it seems from watching the live portion you get more of the studio analysis as to where when it is edited for tv you will get more content from the anglers themselves if I had to guess.
