A sharp eyed viewer will also notice some of those parts aren't 100% compatible.

OK guys got a little problem with a 300 Blackout 10.5" pistol I built for my son. He's at his grandparents in BFE Mississippi and it's having issues.

Son says it's not ejecting fired cases. I told him to lube the bolt carrier but he's at the creek away from his grandfather's shop and doesn't have access to lube. So I'm thinking change the magazine, Magpul, he only brought the one. Shooting Aguila ammo.

Thoughts?

Its normally a mag issue, might just have to single feed it if he doesnt have another mag.

He says he was only loading 5 rounds

Some thing is going on with the extractor. Not sure there is a magazine issue.

Tell him to fire on with out a mag and see if it will eject it.

Magazines cause the most common AR cycling issues. If your rifle is wet and the extractor is good, I’d bet it’s the mag.

Brand new mag. Just took it out of the plastic to give it to him. Magpul 30 round windowed, not sure about what generation.
