More?!?
I thought 5 was fine and 10 was overkill.

How many are you talking about?

Depends on how you shoot. Some people like to unload 3-500 rounds at the range, many dont. Some like to keep most of their ammo loaded up in pmags. And some people just hoard them in case they go up to $50+ each again

Yeah I've got mine in the lower 1/3 cowitness mount with the quick release. Perfect for switching off between guns.

When I was deciding what to get, I figured why not spend the little extra money and get the T-2 over the H-2. Not like I'll be replacing it anytime in the next decade or so.

Why not absolute cowitness?

I like the height on their lower 1/3 mount. Perfect for me.

Looks like lower 1/3 cowitness is the way to go.

LINK

Between the comments from Larue in the link above and a google image search, it looks like you are right.
Get the LT660 and never look back.

Lots of different schools of thought on number of mags one should have. Even for 1 rifle 10 mags is not nearly enough imo. To each his own though.

Ok.... So what is a reasonable amount to store?

Also, where is the best place to buy the Magpul Mbus Pro Sight Combo Set?

I keep about 5 for every caliber/upper. And I keep 5 in plastic though, just in case they do go back to $50+ again.

But reasonable is different for everyone.

I can't tell if that Mile High Shooter's combo is the 2 MOA, but it looks like that's consistent with their other Aimpoint offerings. I may call and see.

After a little more checking, I think the T-2 comes only in 2 MOA flavor.

Academy has it online for $10 cheaper than magpul. Any other place have a better deal?

So is it better to take this deal and buy the large mount.... Or pass up the pmags and get the full combo mounted from larue?

Larue is charging near retail price on their combo, though. I think the Mile High is a great deal, particularly if you're wanting to add Pmags (the ammo is pure lagniappe).

Unless you're seeing a better deal or sale from Larue?

If you keep ammo in pmags, be aware that sometimes the feed lips expand from the pressure over long periods of time.

I got good news yesterday my Larue PredatOBR 762 finally shipped after 10 weeks. Bad news is the tracking number doesn't show that it has even been picked up but Larue said it went out. Worried that with all of the craziness with the flooding its going to be a cluster frick tracking it down. First world problems I know
