That one is fine, I think its what comes with their upper packages now. The medium they are referring to is the latch itself, some are smaller, some stick way out there.

So its really just different sizes for preference? They will all fit standard uppers/bcgs?

yep, look at the latches at the end of the pic ICS posted, its not the overall length, its the latch, some people just want a longer latch so they dont miss it, some want the smallest one so it doesnt catch.

A medium is the best, IMO. I dont need a flag pole hanging off the back of my AR, but I want to be able to charge my rifle too.

Sweet! Now all I need is a LPK/stock and I'll have everything needed for a complete build

Wait for the CTR Lower build kit from PSA and replace the trigger with this when it comes in stock.

I backordered two, but I will buy them from the first place I see that has them in stock. On a lot of email notifications, too.

I know they are top notch for everything AR. Just curious, what makes you recommend them over others?

They are pretty freakin legit, thats why he recommended them

I havent looked for them to price them though, I liked the PSA stuff as one do-all end-all kit.

I have never read a bad review, never. The triggers are spectacular, out of the box. My FIL, retired Army uses nothing but DD LPK and has more rounds than I have toes through his ARs. It was good enough for me to give them a shot and I havent looked back.

Gotta use lube, bro.

I did, lots too. Had to drive both the barrel extension into the receiver and the gas block onto the barrel with a hammer. And we arent talking love taps either. Every install i had ever seen they slid right in. Guess being that tight could be a good thing though.

$99 on the DD website (OOS though). Not bad. I think PSA is $70

I havent seen any in forever. I am hoping that my FIL is sitting one a few so that I can use one for my SBR.

Yeah it just sucked when lining up the peg on the barrel extension with the slot in the receiver. If it didnt line up perfect as i hammered it on it took all my strength to rotate it. Same with the gas block.

Also to T-tres, I couldnt agree more with the recommendations for both the mod4 gunfighter CH and DD lpk. The medium latch is just large enough to give you something to grab hold of without getting in the way. As far as the lpk, the trigger pull is perfect for me and there is no "gritty" feel to anything as some other kits seem to suffer from.

Good thing you did it. I imagine it took not only know how but patience.

I really dont think i could remove the barrel without breaking something, it was that difficult to get sumbitch in there.
