Yes. Wait until the weekdays, that's when they generally become available. Hold off on the polymer lowers, patience will get you a forged one under $150.

It really depends on how you want to run your business. Some people only have internet storefronts and can run their FFL essentially out of their home. I actually have a friend that works for the ATF and used to process these applications.

I think things have changed some. I don't think there is a minimum number of sales or transfers you have to complete to maintain your FFL anymore. I do know you have to be in 'business', meaning selling weapons for profit - not just stockpiling your own personal collection.

I am also looking to acquire an FFL and hopefully also acquire a local internet FFL storefront whose owners are looking to retire to sunny Florida. We shall see.

I've been wanting to look into this. I'm 100% positive I'm good on all the background checks, etc. What's the deal with having a storefront? Do you actually have to have a physical address where "customers" can come to or will any address do??

A guy I know that used to be LDWF, now BR PD got his last year. He uses his house address, and there are certain things they look for, like you having an office, filing cabinets to keep all your transfers in, and a gun safe is preferred but not required.

I'm actually going to look in to having an online store type thing and possibly get in with some distributors down the road.

Well those are his initials but he doesn't have a ffl, his brother in law does I believe. We had plenty of conversations about getting one in the academy.

Just buy a regular buffer tube. Search my posts in this thread for an explanation on it being ok.

This can go in this thread because I may build one.

Anyone have the MP-22 from Smith&Wesson? Do they come with threaded barrels? Would they be a good option for a suppressor?

I am debating between the 10/22, the MP, or building one with a CMMG upper. I def want then option to suppress whatever I choose.

Yeah, thats right.

He was talking last year about getting it, and had supposedly turned all the paperwork in and all, figured by now he had it.
