I just saw a Colt 6920 (slightly above-average rifle) sell or 3100 on Gunbroker.
Thanks for this heads up. I went to Walmart a couple days ago to see if I could snag a Colt and got delayed. They just called me and I can go pick it up. I don't really need another one, so I am going to make a couple grand instead.
Hopefully Gunbroker's fees aren't as ridiculous as Ebay's.

I wonder if the big box guys will get more in?

Guys you gotta be careful selling guns like that. Private sales a legal but if you are buying then selling back to back that may not be kosher. You wanna check that out.

I must own a firearm for an amount of time before it is ok to sell it?
Posted on 12/23/12 at 6:40 pm to Cold Pizza
Person to person is not reported and totally legal. If you are buying significant quanities of firearms to mark up and make a profit, yes its not kosher. But, who's gonna find out?

If you are acting as a dealer w/o the proper paperwork, that's a felony.
If you buy a gun for someone else, not as a gift, that's a felony.
If you buy a gun and sell it to someone else, you are OK.
Probably.

Wasn't arguing with you, just pointing out buying and selling guns is a bit different than other stuff.
Unless you're Eric Holder.

I pray that America is bigger and stronger than the current regime.

A straw purchase happens when you buy a gun for someone that can not legally buy a gun.
