I've been to those meetings, and it doesn't matter what the public comment suggests, if the people present at the meetings are vocal enough, their voices are heard above all others.

I think the public comment a few years ago was overwhelmingly in favor of one set of dates for the coastal zone, and a few people showed up that were vocal enough that the Commission went with those few and changed the dates.

I've also seen meetings where people showed up just to comment on one issue, and when they moved on to another subject, half the room got up and left.

I drove today from Little Rock to Memphis and am spending the night in Memphis (in a safe spot). The amount of ducks and geese I saw reminded me of Guedan, and Crowley in the early 90's! EVERYWHERE!

All Rice stubble fields had thousands of geese. Every field with sheet water, loaded with Ducks.

Stopped and talked to some people and they said the Duck hunting now is the best it has ever been and with Missouri getting anywher from 2 inches of snow to 8 inches saying this week will be SICK!

WHAT IS THE DEAL!

Maybe the teal will come down now to Louisiana!!!!
