Yea I knew Agelina pumps most of there blinds was really wondering about the rest of the area which from the sounds is dry. I have a buddy with property down the road and his place is pretty dependent on those two areas holding a lot of water. I wonder how Jarod and the Honey Brake guys are doing?

No birds in cenla. The last rain at my camp didn't even catch an inch. It's raining now so we shall see.

I've got a friend who works for Jared putting out decoys, brushing blinds, etc. he said it hasn't been near the amount of ducks as last year so far.
This rain here should help things though, and I think its supposed to rain again later in the week.

Based on my deer hunting/hiking, I can assure you that there is zero water in Bayou Cocodrie NWR that would hold any ducks. There's a puddle or two, but nothing in the good spots. They need a hurricane.

i have plenty of water in my lake,, but my duck flew off last week... he was getting up to just about the right size... I'm surprised he survived the bass for the last several weeks..

And I am guessing if Bayou Cocodrie NWR doesnt have water then RSage and the others in that area are dry as well.
Hopefully tkr1407, ChoirBoy and 34venture have some encouraging news.

You know it all greenhead..you obviously aren't much of a duck hunter coming to the ob for opinions on public land

You sound like a prime candidate for a LASportman poster or maybe you are part of the fresh batch of whiny posters they recently kicked off. Either way you are the unwanted here. Have a good evening newbie.

No hard feelings G. I understand you are sick of shooting shovelers and coots over in laffy. Come north I might teach you a thing or two abt the public land up here

Lots of ducks killed in NeLa this weekend. Our little camp in Jones killed @145...mostly teal.Further south, from Start to Columbia, lots of mallards and big ducks got hammered.
