Looking for a new Pit Blind for ducks and geese. It will be put on a good sized levee in the rice fields. I'm in the Lafayette area and the only place I've heard that makes them so far is quirks welding.

I'm looking for a few other manufacturers or dealers to compare price and quality if anyone knows of some

The answer to your question is Quirks....no need to look any further. Go by there and tell George what you want/need. He's a great guy and they do excellent work.

There's a place in Prot Arthur/Groves, TX that sells fiberglass pits. 2 man and 1 man. They are bi-directional so you can sit either side. That's about all that is used here in SE TX, unlike in NE LA where it's all steel pits.

Check out Bayou Rapides Fiberglass in Alexandria. They have several styles of pit blinds from 1 man to 4 man.

I have heard quirks is the best but it will cost you an arm and a leg and maybe even a nut! There is a guy in Lake Arthur that does good work. Don't know prices.

I was always taught to ride around town until you find the perfect dumpster for a four man blind...
