I've had one for about four years now and it still works. Killed some big horse flies last weekend.
Only problem I have is that the salt caused the plastic hinge pin to rust and that caused the plastic cap to break and come off.

Only reason I haven't bought one...and you can make one with an old nerf gun laying around for just about free.

There are minor modifications needed usually. There are a good bit of youtube videos out there so just fine one that has your existing nerf gun or one similar.
