Garmin released its Panoptix LiveScope scanning sonar today. This will allegedly be the next industry setting technology, similar to what side imaging was. It combines scanning sonar and live sonar, where you can sit stationary and watch live fish swimming. The MECA white perch don't stand a chance

I will be ordering in 3 days when it officially releases. It will be game changing for those of us who spider rig.

1500 and you have to have a compatible head unit. Total setup close to 2700-3000.

I'm hoping the Elite anglers use it this year when they head up north. I'd love to see them drop shot-ing smallies with it.
