Are you looking for something for home defense storage? Or something just to store multiple handguns? If it's the latter, like others have said (and will continue to say), just get a big safe

I like ShotLock for home defense pistol. Mechanical lock and very quick to get into. Bolted to the wall inside the closet next to the bed, somewhat out of sight but i can get into it in less than 2 seconds

As others have stated, you'll need to weigh accessibility versus security. An upright gunsafe will bring more security but will take longer to access the gun. A small quick-access safe may be less secure but easier to access the gun. There's always a trade-off.

not worried about quick access. This is more of a housekeeping/security issue.

Same here but my issue is space. It needs to be no more than 24" wide to fit the niche I have for one. Most of the ones I like are too big for the space.

The one TRUISM about gunsafes that I heard long before I ever bought a safe.......
Almost everyone who ever buys a safe will ultimately say “ I Should Have Bought A Bigger Safe” !!!
You can never have enough room in that safe.
