I'll give him props for chopping the wood. That is a lot of work that she didn't have to do. That snake should have been dealt with. That was a lot of protein he bitched out on.

I agree that he did help out with the wood, but he also was a bitch about it and made sure she knew he was doing that. That snake should have definitely been dealt with. He could have easily handled it with that machete. Wasn't it a boa? Sure it could have messed him up if it bit him, but its not venomous.

It is worth watching just to shake your head at the guy. I do think this show edits it so that the girl looks more useful/smarter but this guy shouldn't have been there.

I keep one in my go bag but I think I would feel more comfortable with tablets or just boiling. I'm interested in trying the UV stuff too.

I wonder what kind of stuff the people in Louisiana will end up eating. Any guesses? I'm sure they'll get their hands on some fish. I'd be more interesting if they catch a gator, frogs, turtle, or maybe a snake.

That's what I was thinking, go make a spear or something and eat that snake if you didn't want to get closer enough with the machete.

Yeah, that machete+a long stick could have made a badass naginata to take out that snake with.

This.....The only one I watched was last week (my wife has seen them all I think....yea go figure). The dude just started drinking some random water running off some rocks after about 8-10 days and his dumbass and his partner couldn't start a fire. I told my wife I bet he gets sick....he did. He couldn't continue...but luckily for him he didn't die.

Wondering where they're going to drop them. My guess is somewhere south of Hwy 90 in a marsh terrain.

would have been different if they said it was a team event. You support and carry the team. But in an individual event, second place is the first loser.

guy in Africa made fire with plow method. he also caught girls hair on fire at one point. Africa episode seemed to have the most inconsistent editing as it relates to timing of events.

When the albino marine vagina chickened out on killing the snake, fishing the reef, etc I was having a hard time believing anybody could be that much of a dumbass, but when he dug a hole and started drinking the mud I knew we were dealing with a very special kind of moron.

The fact that he was a city boy from L.A. was when it all became clear why he was the way he was. Nine out of ten OB'rs would handle this WAYYYYY better than that idiot ever could.
