I have a kobalt 40v pole saw, and chainsaw. Love both for what they are. Cranks first time every time.. does work quick and quiet in woods for deer stand setup, lanes, etc.. as well as around the house for cleaning up.
Def isnt something you wana be cutting timber with all day. But for a hunters use, perfect

Couldn't agree more with this statement. Battery powered tools in general are game changers for setting up blinds, tending to shooting lanes, all around maintenance stuff. It beats the heck out of either carrying a generator and electric saws or cutting the wood at the camp and hauling it out to the site already assembled. I'm old enough to remember putting together blinds with a hammer and nail.
A box of outdoor deck screws and an impact driver and a mini circular saw was like watching Jesus walk on water to my dad when he came with us the first time we were setting up a quick temporary bow blind.

You just don’t want to camp on a river island and use a gas chainsaw at night. Prefer anything more quiet, obviously

I’ve got the Dewalt 20v cordless one that uses the Lithium ion batteries my tools do. For light duty stuff it works great. Cuts a lot better than I anticipated.

They are great for taking out small trees in the woods.

1. Don’t need to start it, then bring it up ladder.
Dude...dude...go rent a stihl pole saw for that sheet...get 4 or 5 hoa neighbors together and rent one. But don’t climb a ladder with a chainsaw city boy.
