Supposed to be bad year for scallops. How long did it take to get yours and was it a full limit?

Man, that's some clear water. I never see that here.

You have huge big toes too.

I think they claim to have the clearest bay in America. To catch the scallops, you just walk in the grass and see them swimming or burrowing in the grass. They also shoot water from the water which can make them easy to spot. It took us an hour to catch that many between 4 of us but that was only our second time trying to scallop

So you basically wade around and pick the scallops up?

Most people snorkel and carry a mesh laundry bag to keep them in.

I'd say that's what amateurs do people that know what they are doing have deeper holes and swim for them.

My brother is coming in and we are planning on doing some scalloping up around Crystal River/Homosassa this weekend. Havent heard any reports from that area this year yet, hopefully they are getting a lot out there. Got room for one more person if anyone in this part of Florida is interested.

We've caught about 400 scallops since we've been down here.

Here's a 3 pound flounder I caught a little while ago

If the two of you have kids they will have feet that make Alxtgr look like a foot model.
