We need a couple weeks of drought around my house just to dry everything up.

Managed to cut half my yard yesterday in hopes I won’t have to bush hog it by the time it dries out

My yard is so wet I can’t get to parts to spray for weeds unless I’m wearing knee boots
It’s not a big yard.

We're in for one hell of a flood somewhere across the south before June. There's no way we can get away with all the rain we've had since November and what comes during the spring without someone getting hit hard by a flood.

I had a brief conversation with Jay Grimes about the watershed being unusually high ahead of the anticipated spring floods. He seemed to not be worried about it, claiming we have plenty of capacity and that the snow back in the Ms. Valley was not overly burdensome this year. We'll see.

They keep saying they're not worried about it and it may not end up being an issue but I'd be willing to bet the river levels from Memphis to New Orleans catch everyone's eye in April/May. They're going to get high, just maybe not record level high.

Calling for up to 8 more inches of rain this week up here. All that water in this region is on the western side of the Appalachians and flows to the Mississippi eventually.
