I know this has been posted here before. Just wondering what method is tried and true. I’ve heard about using cayenne pepper. I remember my dad had a trap when I was a kid that he set over the trench. Had spikes that would stab the little bastard when he tripped it. Any other ideas, these little pests are destroying my grass.

Get a jack Russell or a rat terrier.

This will work but an outdoor cat will absolutely not tolerate mole activity.

Yeah... but cats aren’t nearly as fun to watch work as terriers.

Poison gas/smoke is the only thing that worked for me. They sell it at Lowe’s, looks like a miniature road flare. Light it and stick it in their tunnel.

The poison worm or the CS gas.

An old timer told me to piss in the holes.

I bought the double trap from tractor supply and have trapped tons with good success.

You can also put out the granulars for grubs. That is what they are feasting on.
