My brother heard this is the case and the text seems to back it up. Can you hunt on private land with any legal weapon during primitive weapon season after November 30 as long as you have a primitive weapon license? Doesn’t have to be a primitive weapon. That’s the way I’m reading it.

Anybody know for sure that this is the case? Text is plain as day, making sure I’m not missing something before I cut my son loose with a 30.06 next weekend.

a primitive weapon license?

Guess I've never paid attention, but does a sportsman's license cover this?

The first primitive weapon season of the year (10 days before regular gun season opens and does only) does not allow weapon of choice , and the .35 would be legal……if you have ammo for it

You can put it to use in Louisiana’s late season.
