Anyone use these? I’m thinking about adding some mineral sites but I’m curious as to if they are worth it with the hog problem we have

yes worth it, but don't buy the name brand stuff. Make it yourself and save so much money. I can do over 3k acres for about $100

Mix Dicalcium phosphate and trace mineral salt

Your local Co-op/farm supply will carry all of this.

We have placed numerous mixtures at our lease the last 8-10yrs with mixed results. When I say mixed it’s based on observations of usage and camera pics. Hogs have never been an issue.
Of all the things we had done (mixes of salt and trace minerals, cow salt blocks, pink rock trophy rocks) the trophy rocks have had the most amount of traffic to them and they even paw the ground up year around where they have been. They don’t do that to any other site we have set.

Buy the salt, trace minerals, and dicalcium phosphate. Dump a bag of each in a mud hole…

50lb trace mineral salt and 50lb general mineral from tractor supply. The general mineral has the dicalcium phosphate plus many other minerals needed by deer.
