Anyone familiar with the hunting on this farm or around the general area where it is located? Neighbor bought it a couple of years ago and I was wondering if it is worth the trip down to hunt.

Terrible deer hunting area. You've got to cross over into Franklin Parish for the good deer hunting.

Tensas Parish. Can't be bad

There is excellent hunting in St Joe all up and down the river. This is the premier spot in the state, IMO.

I'm not sure where that property is, but Tensas Parish has some of the best deer hunting in the state, without question.

Definitely worth the drive to hunt. I work for a seed company in the area and have seen some monsters around that area.

That place was listed at 4.2 mil a couple years back.

When he went to check out the land last year he ran over a huge buck pretty close to the property. Not sure if it had water for ducks though. Really nice farm from the aerial shots I have seen of it. There are some good soils in that area so I would assume there are good deer.

From the description I read its damn near all AG, not much in the way of woods.
