I have used 40lb Gliss on a bait caster with good success. Frog rod.
Good to know. I haven't spooled it on a baitcaster so I wasn't going to recommend something I hadn't tried.

You can talk bad about my family, my wife, kids etc but don’t insult my fricking casting ability. (Lol)
What me, shirley you jest. I used fro be so accurate with a 33xbl the local pros used to invite me all the time just to try to figure it out. 6 inches of target almost every time. (I was 12 fished every day and destined for the tour. ) I could even throw a 5000 completely in the dark and not get backlashed, like the pinball wizard I went on sound and feel. There was no anti backlash shite back then. (Then came Football and girls and my fishing lost out)
Billions of dollars worth of technology etc, 40 something years later and I was 10x the fisherman then as I am now. I always caught fish then. I didn’t come home until I did.
Of course, it’s some typically some degree of fisherman error guys, I am lucky to fish once a week now. But Is this better than power pro

Eliminating spinning knots is mostly about line twist. I use almost exclusively spinning tackle because of my switch from bass to crappie. I also am using a drop shot for bass more often than not. My main line always goes to a swivel, even if I am using a cork.

No substitute for time on the water

And the biggest common problem is breaking at the knot. There are a couple recommended knots with this line, so I'd look those up if you want to tie direct. If you're using a leader, I recommend the FG knot.
I use a uni knot for everything with nanofil and have had zero issues
