I do not do a lot of saltwater fishing, but I do have plans to fish out of Venice on Sunday and Monday. How's it looking for when I'll be there and how has the fishing in general been down there?

I don't know what the fishing has been like down there lately. Probably good this time of the year.
But this forecast completely fricks everyone's plans for fishing in the gulf this weekend. Calling for 7 foot seas in the gulf.

The hell with that...I operate a 88 foot craft for work and we don't go out in anything over 6 feet. No way I'd go fishing in that weather.
