I'm looking for one of theses, but the going rate seems to be about $1500. Cant bring myself to spend that much right now LOL!

Yes, a lady in my office had one and I met it at a party at her house. It was a Tom and had been declawed. It sat on top of the fridge. I had stopped to talk to a few others and My back was near the fridge. She told me he’d whack my head but with no claws I thought no big deal. He hit my head about a dozen times with both paws before I could move. He was 40 pounds. Yes, hard smacks too.
