Just tired of wasting away at this job. Told my wife August 1 is my deadline. If I don't find a new job by then I'm done.

I've submitted 1000 online applications and haven't gotten a single interview, plus networked with people and told every person I know I'm looking for a job. I about done with job searching.

May start my own business, but would prefer to wait until I graduate (not gonna make it here that much longer though).

Don't quit your job until you have a new one lined up.

Fact

I know exactly how you feel. This last year or so has been the most frustrating for me. At least TD keeps me occupied while I'm trying to find something else.

Just hang in there.

My industry was booming (and my company) when I started. The industry turned upside down and now I'm just a glorified middle man that has to monitor a bullshite fight between companies and customers. I value my reputation too much to continue writing for these shitty companies I now represent.

I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors, as long as your interests don't conflict with my interests.

That's from The Godfather. Seriously tho, good luck.

We had a change in management that turned my job from an integral part in the site's development into what feels like a data entry clerk. It's demoralizing, and I'm completely going to waste.

i know what you mean. i want to gtfo in the worst kind of way. it's not the money or that i mind what i do, but i have ZERO time off. it makes me miserable. i can make more money offshore and work half the time. of course, i'd have to cut back on my TD posting, while i'm gone, but i'd trade that in a heartbeat (no offense to yous guys)

New to the outdoor board...

Been Kayak fishing for about 5 years now. Used to live in panama cuty and can count the times on one hand I went home empty handed and I used to fish 3-4 times a week there in the yak. Moved to Baldwin county about a year ago and CAN'T find a consistent fishing hole. It's frustrating when you go from catching big fish every week and knowing exactly where to find them to spending all day on the water and catching croakers and small specks. So recently I've resorted to taking my yak back to PC on the weekends rather than wasting a perfectly good fishing day fricking around in mobile bay and catching nothing but a sunburn and a buzz

I have a couple of 22s for sale and possibly a 7mm-08.

I have a few fallback options, but they don't pay much. May have to use them until I finish up school.
