Problem is to price a used boat is what the market is willing to pay in a area. Here in the south, smaller boats hold a better resale value then a bigger boat. The ones you are looking at will hold a better resale value. One can try to low ball, but that will tell the seller that you are just a tire kicker and they will not take the time to show you the boat.

Me, I for sure wouldn't!

Nice boat but don't wanna pay that much for a used boat. I think the 8k to 10k range for a boat 5 to 8 years old is the sweet spot. May not be too hard to sell later if necessary.

thread hijack:

never understood how carpet could be a good choice for a boat deck, any positives to this? i can't imagine how my boat would smell if it had carpet to catch all the fish slime, blood and whatnot thats been on my deck.

Comfort and easier on the eyes. Something tells me that early cajuns from Novia Scotia did not carpet their boats. But as we progressed as a society and wanted to use our boat for pleasure........well you get the picture.

I am a fan of the spray in liner but not black. That is awefully hot in the summertime.

LA sportsman classifieds is a great place to look for used boats. you'll eventually find a great deal on a used boat. I suspect now is a good time to buy.
