I want a 1960 one but they're expensive.

Look on eBay. I found one for my 76 bronco. I even got it registered and currently in use on her.

I’ve seen some on eBay. Guess I’ll have to pay that much. Was looking for something a little cheaper but maybe that’s the going rate.

I wish Louisiana would go back to the old style license plates that had numbers, state police troop identification, then more number.

I had a '72 VW Beetle that was 13K353. The old troop K was in Opelousas, but was folded in to A, E, and I.

Would you be able to register that older plate onto a new vehicle?

I was recently told that you can register an old plate to an old vehicle. Takes some paperwork, and the vehicle is supposed to be "stock". Was told that you have to provide a few (supposed) pics of the vehicle.

I think you can. I saw a '68 Camaro a while back with a valid license plate from 1968. The car even had a Nixon for president bumper sticker.
