think towing 9k is too much for a F150. Don't be fooled to think you can safely tow the capacity rating, you can not.

Meh, it wasn't that bad.

Stopping was a pain before I got my 250 years ago.

I would never buy a truck with 100k miles, at least not for these current prices.

And if I did, it’d be the V8 Tundra.

I'm looking also. Anyone deal with Mark Ram in Lake Charles?

Very easy and quick transaction with the best price. I would buy from them again.

In 2013, I bought a 2006 F150 XLT with 80K miles. I have added 110000 miles since then, and it is still going strong with nominal repairs I have done myself.

Buying a car is a PIA in general, which, for me, is an incentive to keep the vehicles I own as long as they are getting the job done.

shite advice.

I bought a used truck with 52k on it, had lifter issues inside of 10k miles from purchase and some electrical recall shite.

Next truck

Brand new, knocking on 61k as I’m typing. A tire sensor tripped out for a couple minutes until I hit a bump and it was back to normal. Not a hiccup one.

Carmax has plenty of 20-21 Tundras with less than 30K miles in the low to mid $40K range. I think you could double that mileage on a Tundra and still be safe. Could see if they offer extended warranty but Tundras are super reliable as others have said.

Glad I bought my ‘20 TRD Pro right before COVID. I paid sticker and have 60K trouble free miles. They don’t have all the interior bells and whistles but that’s also less shite to break.

I really wanted the tried and true 5.7 V8…. however, if you want to game the system, you could always buy a newer version with the twin turbo V6, they will be replacing all of those engines over the next few years so you could basically get a brand new engine and a vehicle with 30 to 40,000 miles

I'm looking to the 25k range to MAYBE 30.... I don't wanna pay 700 a month like I'm doing for our tahoe. I'm leary about buying used because no warranty and spending that much coin only to have to throw thousands more into it if it breaks.

I always buy new unless I can find a steal from a friend or relative. The $700 note is just the way of the world now. If you finance a $30k vehicle for 5 years you are already looking at $600 note with the interest rates of a used vehicle and you still have a used vehicle

Anyone ever have experience with the 2.7 ecoboost or the turbomax? Seems like all trucks are going away from a v8
