I want to buy the kids new life vests. Any recommendations? I am looking for somewhat of a minimal design that they can wear while fishing. They weigh around 100lbs. Thanks.

I bought my kids the mustang little legends and they haven't complained yet. Those neoprene ones seem to give a good range of motion and aren't thick just don't know how durable they are.

At 100 lbs probably going to need to get a small adult size jacket.

Check the labels. They will tell you the weight rating.

I just bought some cheap Cabelas ones when they were on sale one day. If it's just for regular boating/fishing a simple life jacket will do as long as it fits appropriately. Now if you plan on pulling them around in an inner tube or something spend the extra money and get them ones that fit like a glove.

Youth jackets are rated for 50 - 90 lbs so they will be in an Adult Small. For our regular wear life jackets, I like Hyperlite and Helium but we are mainly doing water sports. All of our "extras" everyone else uses when they visit I just have the Acadamy brand neoprenes. They are pretty comfortable.
