It's amazing how your view of the world changes once you grow and begin owning shite.

When I was a teen the only reason I knew what a property line was was so I was careful when across it.

Now I have absolutely no desire to cross lines. I don't care if theres a booner standing on his side

even before then I would shoot anything that moved. dove, quail, squirrels, or even turkeys (might have made my best ever .22 shot with that story)

but we talk about the present

That's true. All ours are key locks. I love locking people in that slip in if someone forgets to lock one back. I love modern tech. Motion activated cam's that go straight to your cell phone. Thermal imaging. All sorts of remote control shite. Poachers are my favorite big game to hunt.

ETA-but No, I don't wear orange whencrossing lines.

My first bow kill was less than 200 yards behind a very popular BR subdivision on Brightside....

I could hear people talking in their yard as I let the string sing.

Had one put a food plot right up to our line and his box stand facing our stuff last year. I hunted the trail headed to it and dropped a 8pt and a doe that both ran and dropped in he middle of it while he watched.

I've never thought about this until this thread, but if you are going to poach, why not dress up like green jeans?

I've never trespassed for a deer..... But a turkey is a different story, if he gobbles I'm coming to kill him. Wear tennis shoes and don't put out decoys. Shoot, grab, run like hell.

I don't turkey hunt so I don't give a shite if people come on our land chasing 'em. In fact, I don't care if they come on for squirrel or rabbits if they ask. Hell I might even join'em. I'll let people deer hunt that don't have access otherwise. We have more land than we can hunt. I'm awfully generous with access, I just want certain areas off limits cause I got deer scoped out for my wife, girls and nephews. I hunt the leftovers anyway. Hell, I'll even put them on deer. I get as much satisfaction from that as I do killing them myself.

We had a guy file a complaint about something similar. Neighbor planted food plot right up to the fence. Stand was legal distance from property line so no laws broken. I love when neighbors plant property lines. Means I don't have to plant and I can hunt trails leading to them on evening hunts

Get yourself an old truck.
Drive to the property you want to hunt and pull over where you want to go in.
Jack up the right rear on truck and take th "flat tire" off and put in bed of truck.
Go hunt.
Put tire back on and drive back home after hunting.
Hiding in plain sight.

I know a guy that killed 9 or 10 deer a year on someone else's land. He only bow hunted in the thickest stuff he could find. He would carry corn a mile into his stands. He would have someone drop him off and pick h8m up. He never left foot prints or used the same entrance every time. But he has probably killed his last deer. He was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer.
