Can't blame you. That's part of the reason I've never gone. All I have is a pirogue, and I can't stand fighting the wind. I'll have a boat this summer though, so that will make it more worthwhile to make the trip.

Great report. Im taking my girl to 2 o'clock in a little while. Gonna get her on some bream while i try to find the bass out there.

Yeah it was nice back there for sure. I'm glad I went make a trip. And it's good to have this as an option for when some of my other fishing holes aren't doing too good.
I keep laughing at the part of the video where I caught the choupique. I didn't realize it was a choupique at first. So when I went to flip it in the boat, I started to reach out for it. Then you see my hand pull back once I realize what the heck it was.

Yea I laughed at that too. I didn't laugh at the monster trout I lost today. Pulled a stupid move trying to grab it with my bare hand. Cut my pinky deep and I'm trying to forget about it.

Nah just white cans. Did get a personal best flounder. MS 15" trout limit killed me. Must have thrown back 20 LA keepers. Got 3 nice trout and 2 good flounder to eat so I'm not complaining.

Oh, yeah I was. I got plenty in the freezer. Was just fishing for fun.
The good thing about video editing is you don't see all of the times I had to go get my shite out of a tree.

Finally made it to little alabama this afternoon. Caught a couple bass on a crank bait. Caught a couple bream on the same crank bait
Its nice out there. I plan to go back but listen to this shite:
So we launch the boat, my cousin and i. Hes in my truck, im in the boat. We fish. We get back to the launch, and are picking up the boat and i notice my trailer lights arent working. So once we pick up the boat i go to check the light plug, it is disconnected. So are the chains, and the hitch is unlatched. Enough to lose the trailer in the water while picking up the boat. I know for a fact that everything was hooked up prior to us getting into the water.
So you think someone unhooked it just to frick w me? I was pretty pissed. Enough for it to unhitch while picking the boat up and lose the trailer in the water. Why would someone do this?
